A moth dances around
a flame
so hot
could be burned
but drawn to that flame all
the more.
The light dances off its wings
eager
fierce to consume
reaching, almost touching
burning with desire all
the more.
Smoke circles around
a pillow beneath
aloft by currents of air
eager to fly closer all
the more.
